A child of two adventurous parents, Matt grew up all over the US – from Maine to the sunny shores of California. Drawn to the visual arts at a young age, Matt studied painting with amazing instructors in NYC and while on retreats in Maine. Matt then attended Otis / Parsons, Art Center and The Massachusetts College of Art where he studied both graphic and industrial design. The intersection between those disciplines, the graphic world and the built environment, is where Matt really shines. Finding a home in television and film, Matt is an industry veteran who brings 20 years of experience in broadcast design and visual effects to his live action direction. His extensive background as a Creative Director and VFX supervisor means that all of his live-action work is shot with branding and visual effects in mind.
